The Fifth International Oocyte Meetings will be held in January 2019 in Villefranche-sur-mer

Since 2008, the International Oocyte Meeting series, held in rotation between marine stations in Japan, North America and Europe, has successfully brought together researchers working on oocyte biology in established and emerging model organisms. The aim of these meetings is to integrate emerging knowledge on oocyte biology from different organisms and approaches, in order to gain a fresh understanding of animal sexual reproduction.

The fifth meeting in this series will be held in January 2019 at Villefranche-sur-mer on the French Mediterranean coast.     Presentations will address different aspects of oocyte biology in a range of animal species and also plants.
