IOP package data GE_Amundsen Cruise June Ð July 2016. List of available data: ¥ 27 profiles of backscattering at 6 different wavelengths (total and particular) from Hydroscat-6. Model parameters are also provided (classic power and spectral slope) as well as b_bp_555 modelled value. ¥ 27 CDOM fluorescence profiles from Hydroscat-6 ¥ 27 Chl a fluorescence profiles from Hydroscat-6 ¥ 24 non-water absorption profiles from a-sphere ¥ 26: CTD profiles CTD profiles Station G324 data were lost between the Amundsen and data processing. Batteries of the CTD failed for Station G300. Processing of the data has been done as described in the metadata file. "Briefly, total absorption from the A-Sphere will be corrected for temperature and salinity following Rottgers et al (2014) using the temperature and salinity data from the CTD. Backscattering coefficient from the Hydroscat-6 will processed following Maffione and Dana (1997) protocol. The light attenuation correction for bb will be performed following the method described in Doxaran et al (2016) using the corrected absorption coefficient from the A-Sphere. Particle backscattering (bbp) will calculated removing the pure water contribution calculated using the method of Zhang et al. (2009)." After that data were filtered and re-sampled at each meter or half-meter. There is one final .csv file for each profile of back-scattering. CTD data are very reliable up to G403 (June 25th). There is a suspicion of pomp failure or malfunction after this date as downward and upward profiles are much more different. Data used for optical correction are OK but these CTD data should not be used for physic purposes. There is one .csv file for each CTD profile. For a-sphere data, some artefact in the red and near infra-red wavelength are present at depth which should require cross-check with available discrete data. People willing to use these data should contact Simon BŽlanger at UQAR for details and authorization. Processing codes are available here Êhttps://github.com/belasi01/Riops
