RESEARCH AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

· 2002-2005 PhD research project at the Observatoire Océanologique, Villefranche-sur-Mer (France). Title: « Temporal analysis of mesozooplankton in the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer using a new automated digital imaging system: the ZOOSCAN. Influence of particulate matter, primary production and environmental factors », Directors: Frédéric Ibanez (MCU, University of Paris VI) and Gabriel Gorsky (DR,CNRS).

· 2002-2005 (10 months) Participation in the development of a novel digital imaging instrument designed for the automated recognition and counting of zooplankton: ZOOSCAN (Patented by the CNRS in 2004).

· 2001 (6 months) DEA research project at the Observatoire Océanologique, Villefranche-sur-Mer (France). Title: « Relationship between particulate matter changes and hydroclimatic variations in the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer (1995-2000), using the Minimum/Maximum Autocorrelation Factor Analysis », Directors: Frédéric Ibanez (MCU, University of Paris VI) and Gabriel Gorsky (DR,CNRS).

· 2000 (9 months) Diploma of higher studies research project at the Marine Station, Wimereux (France). Title: « Macrobenthic resources of the shallow soft-bottom sediments (Dieppe-Boulogne)», Director: J-C Dauvin (Pr, University of Lille I).

· 1999 (2 months) Masters research project at the Cotentin Cetaceans Study Group, Cherbourg (France). Title: « Spectrographic analysis of Bottlenose dolphins’ whistles (Tursiops truncatus) in Normandy », Director: S. Pineau.
