Learning set for Intercomparison experiment (SCOR 130 working group)
picheralA learning set is a set of zooplankton individual images (vignettes) sorted in directories. The directories are named according to the identification of the organisms. The PID data files are added. The Learning sets are compatible with Plankton Identifier when extracted.
This Learning has been created with Robert Williams at Laboratoire d’Oceanographie de Villefranche sur mer to predict samples collected at India station in 1975 using the LHPR. This dataset is utilized for a Zooscan intercomparison experiment through the SCOR 130 UNESCO working group.
The Learning set predicts 13 (plankton) + 2 (misc) groups.
