Welcome to GEOTRACES

GEOTRACES is an international programme which aims to improve the understanding of biogeochemical cycles and large-scale distribution of trace elements and their isotopes in the marine environment. Scientists from approximately 30 nations have been involved in the programme, which is designed to study all major ocean basins over the next decade.

COST Action ES0801. Funding for exchange visits in Europe

Cost Action ES0801 ‘The ocean chemistry of bioactive trace metals and paleoclimate proxies’ has funds available for up to 8 scientists to visit and collaborate with other  researchers on Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs). These trips  should involve training or exchange of analytical expertise in areas related to marine trace-element and isotope chemistry.
